Things to do...

Meeh, I don't think I'll be able to update Fragments of Memory anytime soon. And here I promised myself I won't let this fanfic get away...

There are several reasons for this, of course. Mainly I've run out of inspiration to write. Deciding to put a chronological order to Fragments of Memory has ground the entire project to a halt. Mostly because I didn't exactly have a plot to it yet. :< I was thinking of making it more like a splice-of-life kind of story while Hoshino expands on Neah's past, plans, and goals. But then there are some hints to the vaguest plot I can think of in the first few chapters and having to post them in chronological order means revealing those hints. But what if in the future I find out something that totally crashes through my brittle plot? That means I'll have to write this all over again.

Then again I could just branch off from canon as soon as Belle steps into the story, seeing as her 'presence' could affect the timeline and all that shizz. But I can't think up a complicated plot at all. :<

Another good reason is that I've kind of moved fandoms ^^; Some of my idiot friends kept bugging me to watch Doctor Who. So I did. Aaand I got trapped. Now all my fandom fire is in Doctor Who, and not in D.Gray-man where it should be. If you want to help switch it back, you could link me to good D.Gray-man fanfiction.... ;)

Good reason number 3: I'm currently working on this one-shot for Doctor Who requested from me by one of my friends. And it's going to take a while. A looooong while.

Good reason number 4: There's this annoying plot bunny bouncing around in my head again, this time for the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fandom. And it's just begging to be written. =n= It's an OC centered fic, by the way, so if anyone is willing to volunteer some of their OCs, contact me. And yes, I'm a pegasister. Problem? :)

So as for now, forgive me, but Fragments of Memory is going on a tiny hiatus ;n; if you could offer some opinions, like whether I should stick to chronological order or just keep updating, I would love you forever. If you're worried things won't make sense if they're not in chronological order, don't worry, I've got you XD I'll make sure it won't get confusing. It's the least I can do.

FoM: First Memory

I do not like this chapter. :<

I tried my best, you know! Even when I first wrote the draft months ago I wasn't very happy with it. I mean, it's their first meeting! It has to be good!

Only it's not, and now my writing fire is tired from wrestling with it. Sorry it took so long. It might take a little while to upload the next chapter, because to be honest I'm not too sure about the chapters I've already written down. I'm basically making this whole thing up as I go. See the chapter names? I changed them too. Things might be like that for a little while, sorry!

It also happens that I'm working on two other projects right now, which could delay it even further. If anyone's curious, I'm trying to start a webcomic with my friends while working on a Doctor Who one-shot for another friend. That's not counting TTK-WWC Entry 5, which is still not done. Sigh. Ryoji, why are you so hard to write??

I'm not planning on giving up on this story though, not this early! Never fear!

FoM: Interlude I

Hmm, I don't really know what to say about this one. It's surprisingly short, only one page in Microsoft Word and just two words short of 500. It foreshadows a bit, and reveals Miss Yet Unknown Protagonist's possible future relationship with Allen.

Fragments of Memory Prologue

WOOHOO!! I finally finished typing the first chapter!! 8"D Read it here!

From now on, I'm going to post my comments, art, and even short scenes and comics that won't make it into the original fic here. So expect an entry for me almost every time I post a new chapter. :)

Back From The Dead

Whoop! Finally back! Not that anyone cares Man, this poor little thing has been neglected for quite a while. Anyway, there's not much to talk about, other than my guy friend population suddenly bursting from nil to 20+ in the space of a month. Yup, totally nothing.

Okay so my friend added me to this Brony group on Facebook and now I'm friends with everybody and they call me a new nickname that I, surprisingly, like a lot and then I have two personal favorites who coincidentally have names that start with the same letter but I like the rest too of course especially during the last two meetups we had and it was all so fun and they've made me realize that, GASP, boys are just like us after all. Human.

Belle has had a revelation! Achievement unlocked!

...And that's where I get shot in the head for bad grammar, bad writing, and overall blabbering.

Anyways.

Funny enough I have a lot I want to do this summer, so I doubt I'll be able to upload anything but the first chapter of Fragments of Memory. I don't want to ruin the fic with A/Ns, so I'm going to post all my comments on every chapter here. so I can get more views too muhahahaha


Other things I want to do for the summer:
1. Join Toy Store, a role-playing group on deviantart. It's my first, because RPs especially RPs using art are tedious and take up a lot of time, so that means this group is just that awesome for me.
2. Do dubs! My dubber profile is just sitting there unloved on youtube. I want to at least finish a fandub of Servant of Evil before summer ends. (I'll link the channel when I post something decent.)
3. Update TTK-WWC, a fanfiction on a multi-crossover fanfiction (Inception!!) entitled The Three Kingdoms, which also happens to be a collab between me and a friend of mine. If you guys are interested, you may read so long as you do not tell said collab partner where you heard of it. Trying to stay incognito here, ya know?
4. Upload Fragments of Memory Prologue. It's there. It's in my head. I just gotta type it. Swear.

That's just the least of my worries. But then again, it's summer, where I can do what I want when I want! Here's to hoping mom doesn't become a tyrant and tries to limit my computer time again.

Memory's Fragments: Preview

So, a non-ranty post! Yay!

Yeah, so you guys get to see my art for the first time here. This is a preview of the main character for my upcoming D.Gray-man fanfiction, Memory's Fragments.

Sorry about the one on the left, that was something done in school when I tried to decide how long her stocking should be, and ended up becoming a full-blown reference picture, complete with all them darn ornaments on the jacket. Now that took forever to do. Originally she was supposed to have stockings as long as Lenalee's, but my best friend (not Claire) told me to just stick to knee-high ones.

Yes, she wears shorts. You just can't see them (yet). And her skirt is also much longer than Lenalee's.

I love the inking here.

The one on the right comes from before she becomes an Exorcist. You will see just where she gets/wears these clothes when I finally get around to typing the fanfiction (in March. As you can probably predict now.). No worries, I already have 8 chapters written out and more still coming. This fic doesn't feel like freezing anytime soon, unlike my old ones.

And yes, this is totally me procrastinating as usual. Now I've made a promise to myself to stay off Facebook and the internet until - I know you're getting tired of hearing this, coz I am - March 17.

Belle looks sadly at the open textbook lying next to her, numbers and letters dancing on the page with the words GEOMETRIC SEQUENCE in bold letters on the top. Mournfully, she speaks.
